“… joining choirs and children’s recorder groups, cows in the background and children swinging from the play equipment… Offspring brought the event to life and were perfect for this year’s Tyalgum Music Festival” – Anna McMichael, Co-Artistic Director of Tyalgum Music Festival
The tiny village of Tyalgum in northern NSW was host once again to an array of fabulous musicians from near and far through this year’s Tyalgum Music Festival. Ensemble Offspring were featured in several concerts and activities over the weekend and enjoyed every minute of it! In the words of festival co-director and long-time Ensemble Offspring collaborator, Anna McMichael:
“Ensemble Offspring brought colour and their vivid music-making to a number of concerts over the weekend; at the champagne opening gala concert, their own feature spot in the Saturday concert and following the Gyuto Monks of Tibet in the closing gala. They whole-heartedly joined in Cathy Milliken’s outdoor community event on assorted kitchen ware, joining choirs and children’s recorder groups, cows in the background and children swinging from the play equipment. Offspring brought the event to life and were perfect for this year’s Tyalgum Music Festival.”
