New Interfaces for Computer Mediated Musical Expression

New Interfaces for Computer Mediated Musical Expression concert hosted by UTS in Sydney covered a broad program of events in 2010. Amongst the presentation of papers and spoken presentations, Ensemble Offspring was featured in one of the main evening concerts as part of NIME. The academic conference focused on the theme of computer mediated expression in music and Human-Computer Interaction and the program itself reflected this. With works by local composers including Garth Paine, Andrew Johnston, Jon Drummond and international guests. Like Ensemble Offspring, UTS is a Technology University whose practice, research and teaching occurs at the cutting edge of creativity and technology.
