Nosferatu

Post image for Nosferatu

New soundtrack by Perth composer Chris Tonkin, performed live by Ensemble Offspring in a cinema near you. Released in 1922, this cult silent era film was an unauthorised adaptation of ‘Dracula’. Stokes heirs sued the makers and ruled all copies be destroyed – however a few survived and the film is now considered a masterpiece of 20th Century cinema. Presented by the Goethe Institute for their KinoKonzert series.
