Ensemble Offspring join forces with acclaimed harpist Emily Granger to unearth masterpieces from the depths of living musical imagination. Be captivated by the long-awaited world premieres of two percussion solos, Bree van Reyk’s Slipstreams and Nicole Lizée’s complete Ribbon Windows, plus a brand new duet for bass clarinet and marimba by Gerard Brophy. Granger’s harp and Jason Noble’s contrabass clarinet will feature in recent solos penned respectively by local legend Tristan Coelho and up-and-comer Johannes MacDonald, complemented by rousing chamber works from Nathan Daughtrey (USA), Gunnar Andreas Kristinsson (Iceland), Caleb Burhans (USA) and Australian treasure Elena Kats-Chernin. Come and bask in our slipstream, a visual and sonic wonderland for the senses.
