A Line Has Two
May 13 @ 6:00 pm
A Line Has Two is a striking sonic-literary spectacle by composer Damien Ricketson and renowned poet Christopher Wallace-Crabbe. Following a sell out show at the Sydney Opera House where the work was described by the press as a “a rich jewel-box of sonic textures”, A Line Has Two explores the theme of impermanence and the passing of time. A Line Has Two is preceded by In God’s Esperanto, a world-premiere work that revives ancient languages in an ironic search for universal communication.
A Line Has Two is presented in collaboration with Sounds Alive, Canberra International Music Festival with the support of Arts NSW and Sibelius Software Australia.
