Ensemble Offspring
Avant Gardens 1: Ave
February 6, 2021 @ 5:00 pm – 6:15 pm
For Avant Gardens we head into the backyards and backrooms of our very own musicians to make some noise. Join us for this intimate 4 concert experience featuring unusual line ups, much loved ‘avant garde’ classics and experimental music never heard before.
Lamorna and Jim Nightingale open their home to us for ‘Ave’ in an eclectic performance featuring a rarely heard Donatoni classic for piccolo, glockenspiel and celeste alongside a plethora of new local works featuring saxophone, percussion, flutes, piano and electronics.
Be touched by a meaningful musical experience in four homes around Sydney brought to you by the ever-creative musicians of Ensemble Offspring during Australia’s COVID concert hall recovery. This concert is presented at a home in Ashfield.
