Mondays @ The Church 2: Reconciliation

May 29 @ 6:30pm

Our second Mondays @ The Church celebrates National Reconciliation Week, presenting new works by First Nations composers James Henry, Mark ‘Monk’ Ross and Nardi Simpson. This music was composed as part of the Ngarra-Burria: First Peoples Composers program and Ensemble Offspring’s First Nations Composer in Residence program. There will then be a panel discussion on reconciliation, featuring the three composers, where they will reflect on the journey so far and provide a call to action for the future.

Ensemble Offspring’s free concert series Mondays @ The Church is a unique opportunity for our community of passionate listeners to socialise and connect over brand new music. Each event pairs 30 minutes of live music with a lively chat on the arts and its role in the world today. You’re welcome to keep on talking as we kick on at the Lord Raglan Hotel, just around the corner.
