Join us for this special collaborations with the Sydney Film Festival. Four strangers, two men and two women, enjoy a lazy lakeside Sunday in Berlin in 1929. A magnificently shot film (recently restored by the Netherlands Film Museum), “People on Sunday” allows us an intimate glimpse of a joyful between-the-wars Berlin , a world soon to be eclipsed forever. Accompanied by Australian composer Elena Kats-Chernin’s layered score, this is an event not to be missed.
